Garden Party Ashtray

Description

This delightful ceramic ashtray brings joy with every glance through its playful constellation of tiny green, orange, and purple speckles that dance across the surface like confetti after a celebration. The creation process:
1. I threw the piece on a pottery wheel, then carved the notches
2. After drying for 2-3 days, I trimmed excess clay off of the piece.
3. After reaching the bone-dry stage, the piece was bisque fired in the kiln.
4. The piece was washed, then glazed.
6. The piece was fired in the kiln for a second time at cone 6.
7. It makes its way (hopefully) to your home! 🙂
