Speckle Crawl Ashtrays

Description

These speckle ashtrays have a unique crawl effect glaze on them, making them extra trippy and drippy! Each of my pieces is a unique work of art, hand-made and lovingly shaped and glazed, so there will be a few imperfections. Perfect for whatever you may be smoking 😉

The creation process:
1. The shapes are hand-thrown on a potters’ wheel.
2. After drying for 2-3 days, the pieces are hand trimmed.
3. After the piece completely dried to the bone-dry stage, it was bisque fired in the kiln.
4. The piece was washed, then glazed.
5. The piece was fired in the kiln for a second time at cone 6.
6. It makes its way (hopefully) to your coffee table! 🙂
