Cosmos Major Ashtray

The creation process:
1. I threw the piece on a pottery wheel, then created the notches
2. After drying for 2-3 days, I trimmed excess clay off of the piece.
3. After reaching the bone-dry stage, the piece was bisque fired in the kiln.
4. The piece was washed, then glazed.
6. The piece was fired in the kiln for a second time at cone 6.
7. It makes its way (hopefully) to your home! 🙂
