Ridged Blush Ashtray

Description

This beautifully crafted ceramic ashtray features a delicate pink glaze. Each piece is individually hand-thrown and fired, making it truly one-of-a-kind.

The creation process:
1. I threw the piece on a pottery wheel, then created the ridge pattern on the outside surface
2. After drying for 2-3 days, I trimmed excess clay off of the piece.
3. After reaching the bone-dry stage, the piece was bisque fired in the kiln.
4. The piece was washed, then glazed with Dark Green and Iron Lustre
6. The piece was fired in the kiln for a second time at cone 6.
7. It makes its way (hopefully) to your home! 🙂
