Blush Flower Dish/Ashtray

Description

This beautifully crafted ceramic ashtray features a delicate pink glaze that brings warmth and elegance to any space. Each piece is individually hand-thrown and fired, making it truly one-of-a-kind. Great for holding jewelry, small trinkets, dips or sauces, or as an ashtray.

The creation process:
1. I threw the piece on a pottery wheel, then created the shape by pushing in the sides
2. After drying for 2-3 days, I trimmed excess clay off of the piece.
3. After reaching the bone-dry stage, the piece was bisque fired in the kiln.
4. The piece was washed, then glazed with Honey Flux and Chun Plum
6. The piece was fired in the kiln for a second time at cone 6.
7. It makes its way (hopefully) to your home! 🙂
